Surgical method
Methods to correct a short chin include fat graft, the use of implant, and a method to cut the bone. In case of fat graft, autologous fat is used instead of implant, which will cause less feeling of irritation. And implant can be inserted through simple anesthesia instead of general anesthesia.
The advancement surgery uses a method to cut and bring together the bone at the end of chin horizontally and to fix and correct it with a metal plate or screws. As this surgery cuts the whole chinbone and moves it forwards, the shape is natural and the neck line become more beautiful.
